In the spirit of Kujituma more than 3000 Christians drawn from all corners of the diocese assembled at Karura Forest on Saturday from as early as 5:30am for this year’s Shiloh Prayers Walk almost overwhelming the Park’s staff.
After prayers and briefings The Sixth Mt. Kenya South Rt. Rev’d Canon Charles Muturi flagged-off the prayer warriors.
33 members from our kiahuria family led by our parish vicar were in attendance .
“When God has blessed you, and you become rich, stuffed with food and you even become fat, do not abandon The Lord your God and reject your Mighty Saviour!” Bishop Charles urged in his sermonette drawn from the subtheme of February, ‘Running away from the spirit of Jeshurun’ derived from Deuteronomy 32:15-22..
