“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.”
John 4:23 (NIV)
“Leading hearts into God’s presence.”
The choir leads praise songs in both English and Kikuyu services and is well-equipped with musical instruments, though these require regular upgrades. The praise and worship team is drawn from both the choir and congregation members.
ACK Kiahuria Parish recognizes the potential of nurturing children into strong choirs, which supports succession planning and strengthens connections with youth groups. The church plans to train young members to grow this ministry and harness the musical talent among the youth.
Overall, the Church intends to invest in the music ministry by engaging quality personnel, including choir trainers, praise and worship leaders, instrumentalists, and sound technicians, and by procuring a bass guitar to enhance worship.
