The Mothers’ Union (MU) is the women’s body of the Anglican Church, open to mothers who have been baptized, confirmed, and have completed the required MU teachings. Its aim is to strengthen and preserve marriage and family through Christianity.

The objectives of the MU are to:

a. Uphold Christ’s teaching on marriage and promote its wider understanding.
b. Encourage mothers to raise their children in the Christian faith and church life.
c. Maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship, and service.
d. Promote conditions in society that support stable family life and protect children.
e. Support young families during marital challenges.
